City Farm is an organic farm and community garden in Providence's South Side. Khamta and Chen, seen here tending their plants, immigrated here from Laos in the early 1980s. Richard, the farm manager, is a Vista volunteer from Seattle. I was there to write a story for Providence Monthly.
